August/September 2009

Well.... slowly but surely the work on B Block is taking shape, and this month we are hoping the roof will be place before the end of Sept, early October. This is a huge call, because at present we do not have the total funds for this to happen.. we have the workers with servant hearts and hands, but the funds may be an issue. We are totally relying on the Lord and need another $10,000 or so to complete the roofing stage of the building and have it at lock up stage. The Lord this month alone has provided around $10,000 in one month (we have been VERY busy and it is showing a little with our staff:) but we see business as provision!! Its' been wonderful to watch Him provide in His time and with HIS purpose... we have learnt many lessons through this B block building.. if we ask.. HE will provide... but not in our time, but HIS perfect Timing!

The rest of the campsite continues to bless those that use this place. We are now using the bottom story of B Block for accommodation. Often times we feel a little overwhelmed and not fit for the job he has called us to here as the campsite grows.... but HE has always provided the strength needed to complete what He wants us to start!

Kids Klub will start again next week after a months break! We are all geared up ready to go and hope to reach around 60 kids a week again this term. We have a 13 week program all organised which will take us to the end of the year and our Christmas Concert!

Celebration Service!

On December 19th this year, we are hoping to officially have a 'Celebration/Dedication service' for the New block. We are excited about this and hope to have a bit of an open day, with a presentation of the camp through the last 50 years, celebrating the Lords provision and commitment to the Ministry here. To finish off the night we are looking forward to having a 'Carols by Candlelight' in our car park! We are hoping this will be a family night of fun and fellowship, singing carols and celebrating Gods Faithfulness. We look forward to the churches supporting this event.

So there is lots happening over the next 4 months until our departure.... still so much to do and so little time to do it! Please join us in prayer, praying for the campsite, its needs and that it will continue to be a shining light in this part of Fiji!
